Bridal Editorial for Wedding Ideas Magazine published July 2018. Photrographed at The Hydro Hotel Eastbourne

Our styled photoshoot was inspired by the beautiful coastal location of The Hydro Hotel, Eastbourne (since 1895). We used the Wedgewood Ballroom which, as the name suggests, has its dramatic walls and decorations styled and coloured in complimentary blues like the ornate Josiah Wedgewood porcelain of the Georgian/Victorian era.

We used a palette of blues, pinks and soft greens to create the ultimate feel good Spring/Summer vibe. Its completely joyous and light, the perfect post Winter remedy! Our floral designer Lydie Dalton created a gorgeous collection of floral table decorations, button holes and Bridal bouquet for us, her soft blush early Peonies and Blue Hydrangeas perfectly complemented our table centrepiece , the incredible ‘Caroline’ cake from Sylvias Kitchen...yes the delicate Hydrangea flowers adorning this are all sugar art! Even up close they look incredibly real.

We were lucky enough to schedule our shoot on the first sunny Spring day in April after our seemingly never ending British Winter. The sea was calm and sparkling and the sun was warm outside as we moved from our inside table set up into the award winning formal gardens and stunning coastal terrace- a beautiful vista 121 metres above sea level with un interrupted sea views along the coast to Beachy Head. Our ‘Newly Weds’ Chloe and Mathew take a romantic drive along the coastal road and pose for pictures at the dramatic cliff top above Eastbourne town and a 2 minute drive from the Hotel’s location. We Kindly had the wonderful Nigel as our Chauffer from Finest Wedding Cars driving us around in his immaculate Ivory Beauford .

Chloe wears the Novia D’art Albina dress from Mode Bridal in Hove, with delicate pale blue peep toe April shoes from Charlotte Mills- every pair has a Silver sixpence in them! Mathew wears The Harrogate suit from The Vintage Suit Hire Company and looks very dapper indeed.

This romance and fun of the day and the beautiful seaside light enhancing this photo shoot was brought together through a collaboration of some of the best Wedding Industry suppliers the South Coast has to offer.

We regularly come together to create beautiful photography around top quality locations and Wedding venues, our photo shoots are all about showcasing the best of the most beautiful (and we have so much fun on set too :)
