I am so lucky to be spending time working with some fantastic little people in Nurseries for the next couple of months! …got myself some yummy smelly stickers to hand out, a new (seriously bright) camera skin and some new toys, squeakers, rattles and dinosaurs to grab attention!

I will stop at nothing to get a great shot!! :)

I am very proud to announce that my 'Children' series of images has been awarded an 'Honorable Mention' in the Portraits section of this prestigious 2015 Competition. I entered a series of 3 images taken from my Nursery Portraits that were created in one sitting at Littlesaurus Nursery in April 2015.

I am very excited to receive such amazing and positive feedback and am feeling inspired to make even more beautiful portraits in 2016!

Out today is the latest Summer edition of ABC magazine with my little cover star photograph of India from Hove on the front page.

There is an article to accompany it inside on pages 100-101 titled 'Getting the Best Photographs of Children' where I have offered my 10 best tips to help parents make the most of that brief second where your child actually looks up at your camera and smiles.

I hope they are of some use :)

Many thanks to the parents of the beautiful Nursery children I photographed for my entry into this years Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize- My entries are 'Sophia' & 'Douglas & Boobear' and they are featuring now in my Portraits gallery.

I love these two portraits especially because of the sheer beauty and honesty in Sophia's eyes and Douglas' relationship with his Boobear and direct look into my camera.
